YARD SALE: We can finally announce some of the details of the Second Annual Joint Gentleman's Club/Sabra Connection Yard Sale. This year's chairperson will be Terry MacNaughton who is also again graciously hosting the event at her home, 119 Ethel, the weekend of May 14 and 15. It's not to early for everyone to be thinking about trying to repeat last year's success when we raised almost $1300 - split between PFLAG and the Pride Committee. Terry will be attending potlucks at both Sabra and the Gentlemen's Club to gain committee volunteers (worker bees) who will help with set-up, pricing and general staffing. Do not count on last year's cast of characters to repeat their hard work without an infusion of new blood, preferably a good mix of women and men. If interested, please contact her at 523-1961. And, of course, begin setting aside your clean and gently used items for the sale.

Our budding impresarios, Sharon Culver and Vickie Hughes, have arranged for Harmony, a Colorado Chorale, to perform here in Las Cruces as part of their outreach program. They will be here June 12 and will sing at Peace Lutheran Church. This group of GLBT and straight voices has as its mission to embrace and inspire an inclusive community through song.
