TGC  ACTIVITIES

ATTENTION MALE COUPLES:  Please see the announcement in the Community Calendar concerning an estate planning session to be held March 17.

Almost 40 men attended the February Potluck in the home of Gary Hambree  who proved to be a perfect host. Thanks so much Gary!  And a special thanks for inviting your friends who have never been to the group before.

The  March Sunday Lunch Bunch will meet on Sunday, March 14, at 1:00 PM in the lounge at the Sunset Grill, 1274 Golf Club Road, at the Sonoma Ranch Country Club.  They will offer both their breakfast and lunch menus.  We had to cancel the Shed since they do not take reservations and cannot guarantee space for us in their small establishment. Please call John at 382-6914 or e-mail jabart83@aol.com by March 13 for reservations which are required.  Please Note that this is a change in date and change in time, as well as a change in location for the March lunch.  Sorry for any confusion!

The March Potluck at 5:00 PM on March 20 will be in the home of Rick Colwell, 8040 Island Court,  in Picacho Hills. Please bring an appetizer, entree or dessert item large enough to share. Click here "map"  for directions.  Rick has also provided the following instructions:

Directions to Rick Colwell’s home - Telephone Number 513-460-6832

Take Picacho Avenue (Hwy 70) West past Shalem Colony Road.  About one half mile past Shalem Colony turn right on Picacho Hills Drive.  Stay to your left and take Picacho Hills Drive up the hill.  Picacho Hills Drive will split off to the right … keep left and that turns into Barcelona Ridge. Follow Barcelona Ridge to the top of the hill and turn right into Coronado Ridge Subdivision.  There is a lower gate … Do not take the entrance to the lower gate.  Go to the very top entrance into Coronado Ridge … you will see a water tower and cell phone tower immediately in front of you at the top entrance.

Once you get to the gate you will have to enter a code used for that specific time for visitors to get into the community.  That code will be # 5-5-5-5.  Make sure you punch in the pound sign (#) before punching in the 5555.

Once you get through the gate, take the first right (Island Court).  The home is down at the bottom (the only home down that street) and there is plenty of parking in the driveway or on the street.

If you have any questions or have a problem getting into the gate, call Rick at 513-460-6832, and he will ensure that you get into the community.

There are no volunteer potluck hosts yet for April through November 2010. We do have a December host. The projected dates for the next few months are April 17, May 15, and June 19.  Applications are being cheerfully accepted. Please see below for potluck hosting information.
