We have been a continuously evolving group of women, most who self-identify as lesbians, since the early 1990s. Originally called Desert Hearts, then Sabra, and now currently The Sabra Connection (TSC), the group is primarily social in nature. We meet regularly once a month for potluck supper, board games, card games, conversation, and keeping each other informed of current events in LGBT community.
Our goal is to provide women in our community with a time and place to meet with other lesbians and folk in the LGBT community as well as to offer welcome to those women new to the area who are searching for connections with other lesbians and the larger LGBT community.
